Sequel to the retirement of Oye Hassan-Odukale, Tunde Hassan-Odukale has been announced as the Leadway Assurance Company Limited’s Managing Director/CEO with effect from 1st January 2020.
The announcement was made known by the company noting that Tunde has been a key member of the executive since 1999 which he had also served as the company’s Executive Director, Financial Services and Systems.
Oye had saw the business grew to be one of Nigeria’s foremost insurance company from a small regional company.
“In his 30 years of leadership experience at the company, Tunde has been the driving force behind the tremendous growth seen in the areas of life assurance, investments, finance and technology” the outgoing CEO – Oye Hassan-Odukale stated.
Tunde, 55, holds a Bachelor Degree in Pure Mathematics and is an alumnus of the Lagos, London, Harvard and Stanford Business Schools respectively.
He is a graduate of the University of London and City University, London and sits on the board of directors of various blue-chip companies.
