Levantar signs MOU With LSETF to Empower 100 Women

Levantar Liquid Dish Wash is partnering the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) to empower 100 low income women in Lagos to become their distributors.

The liquid dish wash is produced by Mamamoni Limited – a FinTech Social Enterprise that addresses community transformation by empoering women to carry on small businesses.

At the MOU signed with Lagos State Employment Trust Fund on Tuesday, 9th April 2019, the founder of Mamamoni said the FinTech is creating different income generating activities for women, as more women will now be employed in the factory, more income for our female distributors etc.

This is also a way of supporting SDG5 and SDG8.

Present at the MOU was a member of the board of advisors Mrs Toyin F Sanni GCEO of Emerging Africa Capital Group and Mrs Okhai Olaghere Executive Director of Fosad Consulting, Okocha Nkem, the founder of Mamamoni Limited.

Mamamoni empowers rural and urban slum women in different communities with vocational and financial skills to help them generate livelihood income to feed and educate their children and also provides loans to help break barriers in accessing finance.
