Consummate marketing communications professional, Enitan Kuton has been appointed as the Head, Marketing and communications of Nigeria’s technology company, CreditSwitch.
She will lead the strategic marketing communications and operational delivery of activity for the organisation.
Noteworthy, Creditswitch Limited is an international mobile top-up company located in Lagos State, Nigeria, created to simplify the purchase, sale, and distribution of airtime globally. Some of its solutions include Airtime & Data Top Up, SMS, Airtime Switching, USSD Development, Shared Short Codes, Short Code Integration, Cable TV Recharge, and Utility Bill Payments.
Prior to joining CreditSwitch, she was the Media Manager of StarTimes Nigeria. Her marketing communications experience spans across sectors of the industry, including advertising, corporate communication, Out-of-Home media sales, strategy, planning, and implementation roles in various best-in-class agencies in Nigeria while servicing various Multinational/blue-chip brands.
Kuton started her career as a Card Distribution Support at Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) now GTCO where she was responsible for resolving technical issues on e-banking for ATM bank cardholders, support, and issue resolution for master cardholders, and resolving escalated issues on e-bank from other teams, within 24hrs among others.
She took a media role at TSOLUTIONS Nigeria after she left GTB where she was appointed Media Executive. She was responsible for developing strategies for the media plan among other duties. She later joined Triple A Outdoor Ltd as Marketing Specialist working with other team members to drive marketing initiatives for the out-of-home advertising agency. It was after she exited the agency that she joined StarTimes and later CreditSwitch.
Kuton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Lagos State University and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mass Communication from the same University. She is also a member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and holds other certifications.
